TRAVEL INFORMATION

Flying in? Why not take the train.

Getting around the Dallas-Fort Worth area can be overwhelming, but the regional train and bus system offers a convenient way to travel to and from DFW Airport and popular destinations like Fort Worth (Cowtown), Grapevine, and Downtown Dallas. The closest train station to the TCU campus is the Fort Worth T&P station. If staying downtown Fort Worth look for the Fort Worth Central Station.

Visit the Trinity Metro website to purchase tickets and view the schedule for the train from DFW Airport to the Fort Worth T&P Station or Central Station (Downtown Fort Worth). There, you’ll find up-to-date departure times, fare information, and convenient options for planning your trip. Make sure you download the Go Pass on your phone to purchase tickets ahead of time.

Head to DFW Airport Terminal B, Lower Level.

Follow signs for TEXRail / TRE / DART (look for "Rail" or "Train Station").
If you're in another terminal, take the Skylink (post-security) or the Terminal Link shuttle (pre-security) to Terminal B.

Go to DFW Airport North Station

The Trinity Metro TEXRail platform is located just outside Terminal B, near Gate B30, at the DFW Airport North Station.

Buy a Ticket

Use the GoPass app (recommended) or the ticket vending machines at the station.
Select a TEXRail ticket (single ride or day pass).
As of mid-2025, a standard one-way ticket is around $2.50.

Board the TEXRail Blue Line

Trains run every 30 minutes during peak hours, and hourly late at night.
Make sure the train is headed eastbound toward Fort Worth T&P Station. The ride to downtown Fort Worth (T&P Station) takes about 55 minutes.

Lyft or Uber to your place to stay or the Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU located at 2900 West Lowden Street, 76109.

Coming from the West?

Head east on I-30 toward Fort Worth.
Take exit 11 for University Drive.
Turn right (south) onto University Drive.
Continue on University Drive for about 1.5 miles.
Turn left onto West Cantey Street (you’ll see signs for TCU).
Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU located at 2900 West Lowden Street

Heading in from the East?

Head west on I-30 toward Fort Worth.
Take exit 12A for Forest Park Blvd.
Merge onto Forest Park Blvd and continue south.
After about 1 mile, turn right onto West Cantey Street (look for TCU signs).
Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU located at 2900 West Lowden Street

Location: About 1.5 miles from TCU, roughly a 5-minute drive or quick rideshare. Located near University Park Village and the Trinity River Trails.

VAN CLIBURN CONCERT HALL

Located inside the TCU Music Center, the Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU is named to honor the memory of beloved concert pianist and Fort Worth legend Van Cliburn. The intimate, 715-seat performance hall is designed to rival well-known venues such as Bass Performance Hall, Meyerson Symphony Center and Boston Symphony Hall. Notably, the hall has an acoustical volume similar to those with double to triple the seating capacity.
